I'm a disabled creative based in Norwich. I graduated from BA (Hons) Press and Editorial Photography in 2021 with a first. I lean more towards a documentary style but love art/creativity in general. I've got some projects in the works which I hope to make some movement on in 2026.

Self Portrait 07

Not a fan of my photo being taken - even less of a fan of it being a close up. I like making my NG tape match my outfits though to make it feel slightly less medicalised with it being right there on my face. Feels less like an essential medical device and more of a part of my outfit when I can make it blend in.

Self portrait 06

There’s a lot of important steps to remember when you’re managing a feeding tube, as someone with a nasogastric feeding tube checking my PH before anything goes down the tube is super important!

Balanced with this is the pressure of holding that responsibility of needing to remember all of those steps, and to not make a mistake.

This is also my first more mixed media self portrait too, I think I’ll def try this again it was a fun process to make!

Seeing all the lambs was definitely the serotonin I needed for the rest of the week! Nature walks are great throughout the year but there’s a special kind of magic in spring when everything’s in bloom and you get to see all new life forming 🐑✨

@jcaryyphotography asked this morning what my fave bird was and of course the answer was wagtails! But my fave spot to see them is sitting outside @2magpiesbakery in Norwich!! Seeing the wagtail hop about while sipping my iced matcha is truly a vibe 🐦‍⬛🍵✨

I went on a nature photography walk with @rolls_and_strolls last week! The daffodils may not be in bloom anymore but these lovely lil white flowers are in bloom! I didn't take any close ups of them so not too sure if they're in the cow parsley or wild carrot family?

Im scheduling this post in advance so I hope the crop on the carousel lines up - if not then bob ross says there are not mistakes in art 🥲

I think that the first ladybird might be a seven spotted ladybird (native), and the last one a harlequin ladybird - but if you know please leave a comment cause I really need to work on my bug IDs!!

The river walk has very quickly become my favourite area to go, whether I bring my camera or just sit by the river watching the swans swim by 🦢✨

Fun fact for daffodils - they’re named after narcissus from Greek mythology who fell in love with their own reflection and ultimately was transformed into the daffodil flower. 🌼✨

Self Portrait 03

Third self portrait in this series, while I was editing this photo it felt like it had captured the feelings I was having at the time of experiencing depression and having those moments of motivation and joy - but the counter intuitive experience of them being experienced alongside depression can be disorienting. It’s an odd one to be able to fully articulate to someone who doesn’t have that lived experience? Of experiencing happiness in the shadow of depression.

Forget-me-nots are one of my favourite flowers to see each spring, it's part of the borage plant family along with Green alkanet - which I always remember after mum once told me borage rhymes with porridge to help me remember that one!

I've got a back log of photos from my river walks by the cathedral - it's a super accessible walk that's easy to get to being right in the city centre! It can be hard to find green spaces that are accessible sometimes, so it's great to have something like this in the city!
