‘Chronic Pain’ is an ongoing series following the lives and experiences of people who are coping with Chronic Pain.  The idea for this project came from my own experiences of Chronic Pain. I was born with a condition called Classical Ehler's Danlos Syndrome which among many other things, causes lifelong chronic pain. There's no known treatment for this. It's hard to be able to find support groups for young people who are dealing with chronic pain. As a young person experiencing chronic pain, it can be difficult to talk about because people don’t often expect someone who otherwise appears healthy to have something such as this. For these reasons I wanted to create a series that could show others who are experiencing chronic pain, that they aren't alone. This project also won first place in the Falmouth University Press Awards for the Documentary series category.
